Vintage Brut - Heritage 1990
Winter is very mild and early spring temperatures are high. The first buds appear early and endure late April frosts. Hot temperatures later that year allow new buds to grow. Before the harvest starts - mid-September - important rains make the grapes swell without therefore affecting their sanitary state. An exceptional homogeneity over the whole Champagne Region and its grape varieties announces an exceptional year. 1990 is a wine of a rare aromatic richness with a long-cellaring potential.
The colour is pale gold. The nose has elegant floral aromas (rose), and a light smoky sensation. Nice intensity in the mouth, floral aromas return completed with some ropy notes. Great freshness to finish.
