The original Grand Marnier liqueur, Cordon Rouge, is a delicate combination of the finest cognacs and the distilled essence of oranges with a secret touch, courtesy of its creator Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle. This iconic blend was first produced in 1880 and enjoyed by royalty and the Russian Court. Based on cognac, Cordon Rouge liqueur is left to mature in French oak casks which allows the flavours to marry and give this liqueur its smooth and rich taste with bitter orange hints. Lightly spicy and zesty orange in scent, Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge is ideal consumed neat, in cocktails and desserts.
